Currently the Sunflower Knitters' Guild is knitting much needed items for two local charities in need of support.
The City Union Mission helps homeless families and children in the Kansas City area, while Rose Brooks helps those who need a safe haven outside of their home from abusive situations. The Sunflower Knitters' Guild is excited to have our knitting help keep Kansas City warm in these tough economically challenged times.
We also encourage our members to take part in knitting PICC Line Covers for those fighting Cystic Fibrosis throughout the year.
