$140 for two nights (Additional fees for some classes may apply)

Every other year the Sunflower Knitter’s Guild hosts a
knitting retreat for its members. This year the event
takes place at the Harveyville Project in Harveyville,
Kansas, and Guild members will get to try their hand at a
variety ofmini-workshops or just hang out on the front
porch and knitaway the day!

Registration fees cover all your meals, shared room for
two nights, snacks, use of the facilities (including school
spinning wheels, drum carders, combs and hand-carders,
dye lab and a small flock of sheep and chickens for a true
rural farm experience!) and some of the mini-workshops
that will be offered.

Classes include:
  • Dye Lab: Acid Dyeing (add $35)
  • Tapestry Crochet
  • Beginning Drop Spindling (add $20)
  • Dye Lab: Kool-Aid Dyeing
  • Beginning Wheel Spinning (add $30)
  • Knitting Tricks of the Trade
Other events include a group charity project and a
swap and shop.
